Living Centered: Facing Fear

Living Centered: Facing Fear

Hi everyone and welcome to the 8th edition of the Living Centered Newsletter.

Over the past few weeks, I've been thinking about how to best overcome fears. How we can best choose courage in the face of fear.

I watched my son overcome a big fear of his recently. It was exciting to see him choose to move through his fear and see the results of that choice. I wrote my essay thanks to how he inspired me.

Let's get to it.

Quote

Let me ask you: when you are afraid, what is the story you are telling yourself? That you're unable to succeed? That you won't make a difference? That you'll be rejected?

I bet none of them are true.

Next time you face fear, ask yourself, "What is my story?"

"Fear, to a great extent, is the story we tell ourselves..." Cheryl Strayed
