Consistency over Convenience
Today has not been a good day. It would be much more convenient to simply skip writing. But a commitment was made. Today consistency is chosen over convenience.
I don't want to write today. I don't feel like putting in the work.
My goal is to ship essays for 30 days straight. Not 29 out of 30 - so here I am. 30 days requires consistency even when you don't feel like it.
Consistency means you do what you say even when it's not convenient. It means you commit. Committed to your goals, your dreams, and the life you want.
Consistency is not easy in many areas of our lives. Creating, shipping, parenting, marriage, work - all these areas require consistency over convenience.
